Expenses
Set time aside to make sure you are budgeting, reviewing your finances and up to date on all of your payments. Taking time to do this once a month can alleviate a lot of stress when it comes to money management and is way to make sure you are aware and in charge of your finances.
Time with Family & Friends
It is easy to make plans- but not always so easy to keep them. When you make a plan to meet up with your family or friends, put it in your calendar or planner so that you are less likely to flake. Committing to time with your friends and family is an important piece of balancing your priorities. Make sure you schedule some time, especially with those you don't get to see as often.
Maintenance/home projects
Write down all appointments you have for people coming to your home to do maintenance or other servicing to your home or car. It is really easy to forget these types of appointments since they are usually not part of our normal schedule. Also, if there is a project you are doing yourself, it is helpful to carve out time in your schedule to make sure it gets done.
Shopping Trips
Having more structured shopping trips can help you to stay consistent with grocery shopping and other household management needs. It also helps with other things in the home, such as planning meals and making sure you aren't missing important things that you use daily, such as toothpaste or toilet paper! Lists are helpful too when you go on these shopping trips.
Self-care time
Don't forget about yourself! Make sure you schedule things for you to do for yourself, whether that's scheduling a massage appointment or a night in with wine and a movie. Especially if you are busy and are always focused on getting other things done, it is important to have time to destress, relax and refresh for all of the other responsibilities you have to take on.
